Each student enrolled
on a THINC-UOW degree program is mandatorily
required to complete an Orientation
/ Induction program satisfactorily
before being allowed to register for
course work that apply towards the
degree. The Online Orientation period
lasts for one week at the start of
every semester. During this period
students are introduced to various
facets of the online mode of delivery
including technology requirements,
skills for conducting research on the
Internet, contact information regarding
key personnel at THINC and responsibilities
of the online learner. At least two
synchronous chat sessions are scheduled
at convenient times during this week
wherein students are introduced to
the Online learning process. This session
also enables students to e-meet with
fellow students on the THINC degree
program.
Each student will be provided with a
Username and Password for accessing the
THINC Virtual Campus. |
